These reductions in state revenue result in higher property taxes and have not had any significant impact on bringing business to NH.

NH has a terrible history regarding school funding. Public schools have historically opened opportunities to all and reduced wealth inequality. They are now being pushed towards extinction in favor of unregulated private schools and home schooling. The failure of the state to meet its obligations has been a prime cause of increased local property taxes.
