According to the NH Fiscal Policy Institute Issue (NHFPI) Brief (8.2.23) 'New Hampshire relied on corporate taxes for a greater percentage of revenue than any other state in FY 2021. NH raised about 31% of total tax revenue through corporate income taxes, while the next highest state was New Jersey with about 14 percent.' Obviously any changes in NH business taxes would be impactful. The NHFPI determined that the 'rate reductions for the State's Business Profits Tax and Business Enterprise Tax implemented between 2015 and 2022 caused the state to lose between $496 million and $729 million in revenue.'
