Ernesto L. Gonzalez is a Republican New Hampshire state representative for Merrimack County District 3, representing Franklin. Born in Havana, Cuba, he emigrated to the United States in 1968 and became a U.S. citizen in 1980. He has taught since 1997 and currently teaches Spanish at Newport High School. He previously served briefly on the Franklin School Board in 2009 and was elected to the New Hampshire House in 2024.
