  I do not support state (public) funding for private (non-public) schools. It erodes the independence of private education, insuring accountability to the state instead of to parents. Allow parents to change public school districts to find a better fit for their child and bring their education property tax money with them as we used to be allowed to do. It's better than state interference and regulation of private education.

  Historically, NH taxpayers could change districts by notifying the town clerk. It was allowed to respect our rights of conscience. These local decisions were managed without any state interference or funding as is being proposed today. It builds stronger communities when taxpayers fully support the instruction in their local public school. Parents don't need to complain endlessly in vain to their school board. They simply align with a district that they find favorable. It's a win-win for everyone.
