We homeschooled our children 2004-2013 so I believe wholhearedly in alternate schoolin options. I'm not sure EFA is the perfect solution. I'd prefer families to get a tax break rather than being paid by the State. When the State gives people money, they can also make demands. Sweden had something similar to EFAs and created more and more demands on homeschooling families and recently BANNED homeschooling!

Towns should be able to make their own zoning decisions without the control/manipulation of Concord.

Competencies across the country have been down since the early 2000's. The whole public education system needs a complete overhaul, all the way up through the liberal-minded college system. Reading should be phonics only (no whole word reading) and NO NEW Math curricula! Singapore is #1 in the world, why not use Singapore Math!? STOP TRYING new UNPROVEN curricula and expanding aides because the curricula taught is terrible! (These opinions have been formed through reading and substituting locally the last 3 years... interacting with seasoned teachers who are fed up.)

I believe there are successful medicinal uses of marijuana but am very concerned about the use of it by children - read the new book BLUNT TRUTH for more information. I also know several people who have been severely hurt in car accidents by drivers under the influence of marijuana. Until a system (like breathalyzer tests resulting in DUIs) is put in place, I'm against legalizing it for public safety.

I would even want tthose already registered to show their documentation as well during some reasonable timeframe (2 years?) to verify that everyone on the current voter rolls are US Citizens.

My experience in biology research at MIT and substituting in local schools/going to school board meetings is that adminstrations that get 'free money/OPM' from the government do NOT use it responsibly and almost always are RUSHING to spend the money at the end of the time period. Adminstrations should be encouraged to return unspent monies!
