We have seen in Texas that even in cases like Kate Cox where the health of the mother and life of the fetus was at risk, politicians have stepped in to block care. Pregnant women have been bleeding out in parking lots with sepsis because they weren't close enough to death to be considered to have a medical exception. Cases where abortion is needed after 24 weeks are almost never voluntary and most always due to a tragic situation that politicians have no place getting in the middle of.

  I don't believe anyone who is already struggling to afford necessities should be taxed any more than they are currently, but I do believe that the wealthy should pay their fair share for the benefit of all Granite Staters. I would support some form of wealth tax depending on the structure to pay for improved public services such as education and childcare.
